Natural Heritage Education Program
The best way to discover Pinery is through the park's extensive summer programs for visitors.
For group education programs go to Group Education .
You should refer to the activity schedule for the times, locations and descriptions of all our interpretive events. It is available at all campground offices, gates, host and hostess sites, and is posted at the Visitor Centre and Comfort Stations throughout the park.
Be sure to check the special events calendar for details of other weekend interpretive programs. |
Canoe Hikes
Every Friday morning throughout the summer months (late June to August) a canoe hike is held. Bring your canoe, paddles, and life jacket to the canoe dock or take advantage of renting a canoe, and join the Naturalist staff for a 2-hour paddle. We will help you make that canoe go straight while you discover the wildlife and history of the Old Ausable Channel. Rental canoes can be reserved in advance and paid for at any camp office. back to top |
