Ontario Parks encourages research activities within protected areas in order to help provide a better understanding of park environments and to contribute to long-term management practices and actions.

Prior approval is necessary for all research in parks.

Anyone interested in conducting research in Pinery should obtain a copy of an application to conduct research in Provincial Parks by contacting the Visitor Centre.

While developing your application, you should contact the Resource Management Supervisor to determine the appropriateness of your proposed research relative to management programs and resource sustainability.
