Washrooms available at the Outdoor
Theatre and area.
Refreshments
Water stations will be available along the race route and at the finish. Refreshments and food will be provided after the race.
Cash Prizes
Top 3 male and female finishers in the 8km run.
1st - $75, 2nd - $50, 3rd - $25.
Merchandise Prizes
Top 3 male and female finishers in the 4 km run.
Prizes
Medals will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the above age groups. No duplication of medals.
Course
The 4 km Hog-nosed Snake Trail Run is one loop.
The 8k Hog-nosed Snake Trail Run is two loops.
Course Description
Downhill start, beach running, stair running, hills, rough and smooth terrain and
then the 200 metre uphill finish.
The Hog-nosed Snake Trail Run begins and ends on top of a hill at the Outdoor Theatre.
The first 250 metres is paved and on a downhill slope. It is a wide pathway that can fit 3 runners side
by side.
Trail runners will then travel roughly 500 metres on a paved road to the beach.
The next 400 metres will be beach running to a stairway opening back into the Pinery, up the stairs
and along a rough pathway up and down, crossing Burley Road and up another hill and set of stairways
to a roughed pathway leading into the smooth pebbled Cedar Trail.
Follow the Cedar Trail out to
the Visitors Centre, along a pathway and up a 200 metre paved pathway to the start/finish area at the
Outdoor Theatre.
4k runners are finished here while the 8k runners do it all again.
There will be a late registration fee of $5.00 charged for all registrations received after midnight October 16th, 2013.
Registration fees are not refundable or transferable at any time.
The
Pinery Provincial Park Road Race is the last event of the Runpiker Series. Complete 5 out of
the 8 events and receive a series souvenir and enter your name into a draw for some

Course Description
The races will be held on a flat and rolling course which goes from the Visitors' Centre towards the Dunes Campground and the Administrative Offices. The 2k will be run out and back with a turn at the 1 kilometre marker. The Fawn Run will start in the same area and go out 100 metres and back 100 metres.
The course is certified by Bernie Conway International Measurement Administrator Americas.
